Our house has become an integral part of our sisterhood. We use it as a meeting place for all sisters, as well as to host events. In the past year, we’ve held events such as a Parent’s Brunch, Midnight Breakfasts to benefit philanthropies, and mixers with other sororities and fraternities. As well as serving as a perfect place for more formal events, our house has become an incredible place to simply relax and bond with sisters.
“Whether it be late night group study sessions or all nighters for the big test the next day, there is always someone here to share with you whatever it is that you’re doing. That is not only a very comforting feeling, but also makes all the sisters feel so much closer to one another.” - Julia Wyka
“Our house is a place to get to know one another, to study, to watch TV, and to order late night takeout. Our house is a place to drop anchor, and most importantly, our house is our home.” - Eden Sutley
"Being in the house has made my DG experience. It has provided me with the opportunity to become close with girls who I may not have had the chance to spend as much time with otherwise. Moving into the house at the beginning of the semester my sophomore year was the best decision I could have made. I've liked living here so much that I stayed second semester sophomore year and plan on staying in the house through the summer and next fall." - Courtney Cantor "Who wouldn't want to live with some of their best friends?! The DG house is so great because it makes you so much closer with your sisters- some girls you maybe didn't really know well quickly become your housemates and soon your greatest friends. True bonds are formed and you know a sister is always there for you. Whether its a girl to cheer you up, someone to watch TV with, or even someone to walk across the street to get food, I know I can really count on the girls in the house to be there for me" - Makaila Zimick "I lived in the house my sophomore year and had the most amazing time. You become so much closer to the girls in different pledge classes in addition to the sisters in your class. Being in the house puts your right in the heart of everything DG and brings you so much closer to the sorority as a whole. Not to mention getting closer to the other fraternities and sororities on the row! Frequent wars with fraternities on the row made late night scheming and covert operations one of my favorite memories of living in the house."
