Devon Horowitz in "Children of Eden"

"I was involved in Forbidden Planet Production's winter musical "Children of Eden". The rehearsal process was stressful and strenuous, and often made me have to miss out on DG events with my sisters, but it was all made worth it when I came onstage on opening night and saw a huge group of my sisters in the very front row! Their support was amazing and it made me so happy that my Delta Gamma family was able to share my passion with me!"- Devon Horowitz, pictured far right

Delta Gamma enjoys using our large chapter and powerful voices to draw attention to certain causes in the GW community. It's even more exciting when we can invite another student organization to join us!

On November 4th, 2009, Delta Gamma co-sponsored a Women's Day of Action for health care in Kogan Plaza. The event shed light on several aspects of being a woman in today's society, specifically involving health care concerns. We were happy to co-sponsor this event with Voices for Choices. Together, we handed out information on health care reform, played trivia games, collected money, and posed for pictures with a giant cardboard figure for all of GW to see! All proceeds went to a DC women's clinic.
